🌍 Honored to speak at NYC Climate Week 2025! 🌍 Thrilled to have joined my colleague Thomas Luebke at the National Public Utilities Council Utilities Solutions Forum during The Nest Climate Campus to debut #CarbonCompass — our new interactive tool designed to help utilities and organizations track, analyze, and plan their carbon reduction strategies. Built with machine learning and scenario planning at its core, Carbon Compass empowers users through three key features: 🔹 Current State Analysis – Understand your carbon output and performance trends over time, relative to peers. 🔹 Forecasting & Scenario Planning – Model future emissions and explore pathways to net-zero. 🔹 Materials Assessment – Evaluate the cost and carbon impact of infrastructure investments. If you're looking to turn your present data into actionable direction and build data-backed strategies for a low-carbon future — let’s connect - Motive Power, Inc. ! #NYClimateWeek #TheNestClimateCampus #CarbonCompass #UtilitiesInnovation #NetZero #ClimateTech #ScenarioPlanning #SustainabilityLeadership

📩 A message to the future. This was one of the first things I saw as I stepped into Climate Week NYC, and it stayed with me. What struck me most this year was how the conversations carried vision while being backed by real strategy and roadmaps to get us there. It felt like a message to the future translated into stronger action. At The Nest Climate Campus I was inspired by sessions on how we can learn from nature to design sustainable solutions and by the Javits Center rooftop farm as a model for resilient urban space thanks to work by Brooklyn Grange. Project Drawdown also stood out for showing how central food is to emissions and our climate and for offering a roadmap to action that makes involvement tangible. Another highlight was meeting marketers, comms and other creatives who are reshaping how we tell these stories. It was great to catch up with friends from Clean Creatives who push agencies to end fossil fuel contracts and raise the bar on honest climate work. To close out the week I joined the Women in Cleantech and Sustainability Art as Activism event where Benjamin Von Wong shared his journey and reminded us that creativity and storytelling can move awareness into impact. Amid so many challenges in the U.S. and around the world, this week showed we are not alone and together we are shaping messages to the future that drive action. Appreciate Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications for the opportunity to take part again this year! #ClimateWeekNYC #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Cleantech #Agtech

🇮🇹🌍 For the third consecutive year, Italy took part in The Nest Climate Campus in New York with #SustainableItaly, an initiative promoted by ITA - Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in New York and Ecomondo. For three days, the Javits Center brought together companies, institutions, finance, and civil society to accelerate solutions on clean energy, climate finance, biodiversity, circular economy, and resilient infrastructure. Italy showcased 13 innovative companies and organizations driving progress in cleantech, sustainable mobility, and environmental innovation, and the program culminated with a high-level event at the Consulate General of Italy in New York, reinforcing Italy’s institutional presence during #ClimateWeekNYC and fostering connections with international investors and key stakeholders. 📽️ Watch the recap video below. #sustainableitaly #cleantech #green #innovation #climateweekNYC #italiantradeagency

So 👏many 👏myths 👏busted 🤯at Climate Week NYC. If you want more myth busting, follow The Cool Down. They help customers choose products – from electric vehicles to deodorant – for “a cleaner, cooler future.” And Anna Robertson from The Cool Down is just lovely! I had the delight of spending time with Anna on the main stage The Nest Climate Campus where we busted some EV myths and talked about how critical it is to keep breaking down barriers to EV adoption. Some things I shared with the audience (and loved talking with everyone about after the presentation): 📈 GM is now the No. 2 seller of EVs in the US. 🥳 We’ve doubled our sales and market share during the past year, and more than half of our EV buyers are new to GM. ↗️ 🚘 We offer different 14 EV models. Fourteen! 14! Affordable crossovers like the Chevy Equinox EV; luxury SUVs like the Cadillac LYRIQ and Escalade IQ; serious work trucks like the Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV; and even the electric badassery of the Hummer EV - we’ve got an EV for every budget and lifestyle. ⚡️ The Chevy Bolt is coming back, better than ever! What?!? Yaaassss!!!!We’re keeping what made the original Bolt special, but it’s also reimagined with technologies from our new family of EVs. That means better range, faster charging, and a more refined driving experience. 🐶 With our two dogs and three kids, my family traveled almost 2,500 miles across the Midwest in EVs this summer. Road trips are getting easier by the day as GM EV owners now have access to more than 250,000 public chargers across North America - and more on the way! 🔌 👋🏻 My favorite GM EV mom hacks? Pre-condition the car for heat or cool entry before you get in. Use the frunk for luggage / backpacks / sports gear /instruments so you can use the interior for dogs and snacks, lots of snacks. Use the power outlets in the bed of the Chevy Silverado EV for picnics, tailgates and all-day sporting events. And bask in the ease of the automatic-opening doors feature in the Escalade IQ to just make yourself feel fancy sometimes 🤩. Big thank you again to Anna and our friends at Nest for the chance to talk about this work that I love so much and the vehicles I get so excited about. GM’s vision of a zero-emissions future means our business goals and our sustainability goals are aligned, and profitable EV production is a North Star I’m in for. No doubt, this is a pivotal time for EVs, and we have a lot of hard work ahead of us 💪💪💪But no matter how the market develops, we’re committed to meeting customers where they are with our incredible portfolio. Let’s drive what matters. #climateweeknyc #sustainability #evlife #electricbadassery #sustainablebusiness #iworkforgm

#CWNYC25 was a whole lot of things: a lesson in patience, countless steps and insights, and buckets of inspiration from leaders. But most importantly for me, two things made it to the top: ✅ Our #Kenvue team of leaders, practitioners, communicators, scientists and solutionists introduced ourselves to the world. Who are we? What do we stand for? And why does our #HealthyLivesMission matter? And we activated our purpose - realize the extraordinary power of everyday care - by inviting #ClimateWeekNYC attendees to join us at the Kenvue Care Lounge at the The Nest Climate Campus to take a beat - recharge and reset themselves for the week of hustle and beyond. And such wonderful conversations our team had as we discussed what does it mean to advance healthy people and a healthy planet and shared some of our progress (our end to end recyclable Listerine bottles in EMEA for instance or our Neutrogena refill pods) and debated challenges (fragmented recycling systems, the continuing intent-action gap among consumers)! Thank you Russell Dyer and Kristen (Smith) Wallace for believing in the vision! ✅ The many many friends and leaders I reconnected with! Your hugs, your encouragement, your stories, our collective chuckles, all gave me the dose I needed to be inspired and fill my cup with gumption! Freya Williams Solitaire Townsend Lucy Shea Letitia Ferrier Webster Pamela Gill Alabaster Varsha R. Fay Shapiro Anu Ramamurty Hope Freedman Samuel Monnie and the many others I am not able to tag because of LinkedIn’s limits!! And finally, it will be Katharine K. Wilkinson’s words that will remain etched in my brain for now: “It is no small thing to hold the pen of persuasion …Hold that with humility and reverence and take care of one another. This is long haul work. We need courage and depth.” #WeAreKenvue #sustainability So appreciate this gang for all the trapezing all around NYC to engage, debate and learn as well as having the many conversations at our Lounge with intent and enthusiasm! This weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to New York City with the Women in Finance Initiative at Appalachian State University. Our group visited TD Securities, explored innovation and sustainability at The Nest Climate Campus, and participated in a case study at the Empire State Building. These experiences offered valuable perspective on the diverse paths within finance and the growing role of sustainability in the industry. I’m grateful to the professionals who shared their time and insights with us, Brandy Hadley, Ph.D, CFA, as well as to Appalachian State for supporting opportunities that prepare women for future careers in finance!
