Update Instructions

  1. Download the latest firmware file.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. Open the configuration page and go to the System tab.
  4. In the Firmware Update section, upload the file named wican-fw_obd_pro_vxxxp.bin.
  5. Press Update to start the process.

In case of a boot loop, you can perform a hard reset

Bug Fix:

  • Fixed WiFi primary/fallback issue
  • Removed full configuration from HTTP post

New Features:

  • Added up time to status page

Bug Fix:

  • Fixed WiCAN PRO does not prioritize strongest Wi-Fi signal #572

Update Instructions

  1. IMPORTANT: This update will reset your device configuration. Backup your configuration before proceeding "System -> Download Configuration"
  2. If MQTT is enabled, disable it before uploading the firmware.
  3. Download the latest firmware.
  4. Unzip the downloaded file.
  5. Upload wican-fw_usb_vxxx.bin for USB devices
    or wican-fw_obd_vxxx.bin for OBD devices.

IMPORTANT: This update will flash the OBD chip, the device will start blink RED for about 1 minute or so please do not unplug while updating.
