Is it science…or a little bit of magic? Having witnessed the impact that a lack of access to clean water has on families and children, P&G chemist Dr. Phil Souter applied his expertise in Fabric Care science to develop our Purifier of Water technology, which packs the power of a water treatment plant into a small but mighty four-gram packet. Thanks to this remarkable #PGInnovation and the dedication of more than 150 partners around the world, the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program has now delivered 25 billion liters of clean water to children and families. Through the #PowerOfCleanWater, the CSDW Program helps keep families healthy, enables more children to attend school regularly, and supports the growth of communities. Did you know? When the Apollo 11 astronauts landed on the moon, they had with them some of P&G's well-known products. Crest toothpaste, Gillette razors, Old Spice shaving cream, and Nasivin nasal spray were all part of the legendary mission in 1969, marking the first of several instances our products have ventured into space in the decades following. Together with 150+ partners, the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program has reached its latest goal: providing 25 billion liters of clean water. This milestone was announced on stage at Global Citizen Festival with the support of our longstanding partner Americares; actor, director, producer, and Americares Board Member Tony Goldwyn; and Olympian, sports analyst, and advocate Laurie Hernandez. Reaching this goal was only possible thanks to the dedication of partners like Americares, CARE, ChildFund International, Save the Children US and World Vision USA, along with local leaders and P&G employees. For 20+ years, their efforts have helped bring our clean water innovation to even the hardest-to-reach places. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible every day. Together, we’ll continue to provide clean water to communities in need. Learn more about the CSDW Program’s impact: https://lnkd.in/gkeYg76K #PowerOfCleanWater
