  • 🚀 Introducing Dig Energy: The Low-Cost Geothermal Drilling Alternative As part of our BOOST 6 cohort spotlight series, we’re excited to introduce Dig Energy, Inc., a company making efficient, cost-effective geothermal heating and cooling available at scale. Dig Energy has developed proprietary geothermal drilling technology that is radically more cost-efficient and compact than repurposed oil and gas equipment. Their system delivers: ✅ 80% reduction in drilling costs ✅ 50% reduction in drilling noise levels ✅ 75% smaller borehole diameter With a compact footprint enabling multi-head operations and tighter property setbacks, Dig makes ground source heat pumps and thermal networks cost-competitive with fossil fuels, while reducing grid strain as the $2.7T HVAC market electrifies. Founded by second-time founders Dulcie Madden and Thomas Lipoma, Dig Energy is bringing groundbreaking (literally!) innovation to the built world. 👋 Congratulations to the Dig team! We’re thrilled to be on this journey with you. Stay tuned as we spotlight more BOOST 6 companies in the weeks ahead!

  • Last week, we co-hosted an event during New York Climate Week, Urban Playground: Climate Innovation in our Cities, with our partners Climate Salon and Morrison Foerster. Together, we convened leaders across climate tech, policy, finance, and the built environment to explore some of the most pressing questions shaping the future of our cities. Attendees broke into groups to dive into key topics including: 💸 Financing FOAK projects in urban environments 🚦 Pilot deployments in cities 🌱 Building greener infrastructure 🌍 Scaling solutions across city borders 🛡️ Strengthening climate resilience The discussions were rich and forward-looking, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges in driving climate innovation at scale. A special shout-out to Victoria Pisini, Jonson Berman, Steven Burke, Gustavo B., Becky Gallagher, Frank Paz, Georgina Campbell Flatter, Lauren Wang, Rawand Rasheed, PhD, Sally Chen, Alexandra Kokot, and Sonam Velani for their leadership in shaping this dialogue, and to all the participants who contributed their ideas and expertise. The collaboration and exchange of perspectives in the room underscored just how critical cross-sector partnerships are to advancing urban climate solutions.

  • Earlier this month, Jit Kee Chin spoke at the 2025 Global Infrastructure Initiative Summit in Los Angeles, hosted by McKinsey & Company. She joined an insightful panel discussion, “Will AI Solve the Construction Productivity Puzzle?” alongside Alaa AbuSiam (Egis), Dev Amratia (nPlan — a Suffolk Technologies portfolio company), and Usman Shuja (Bluebeam — a BOOST Operating Partner). We’re always grateful for opportunities to collaborate with industry leaders who are shaping the future of construction. Conversations like these underscore the importance of embracing innovation and adopting new technologies to drive meaningful change — from boosting productivity to enhancing safety, sustainability, and collaboration across the value chain. Our team is also excited to share more on this topic soon — including our perspective on the future of infrastructure and where we see the greatest opportunities for innovation, adoption, and impact across the built world. Stay tuned.

  • 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 ARKI: The AI platform that thinks like an architect 🚀 Over the next eight weeks, we'll spotlight the startups in our BOOST 6 cohort, an intensive 8-week accelerator equipping trailblazing founders with the tools, insights, and connections to transform the built world. Today, meet ARKI: ARKI gives architects and engineers instant access to every design detail across their firm. Their AI platform converts years of scattered files into collective intelligence, allowing teams to find exactly what they need to accelerate project delivery. By seamlessly integrating with Revit, ARKI solves version control issues and frees architects and engineers from recreating details. The payoff is immediate: firms save thousands in billable hours within weeks, cutting up to 3 hours from every detail. ARKI is already driving results for customers, delivering up to a 50% boost in efficiency and cutting construction detail production time by over 30%. Founded by architect Natalia Bakaeva OAA IA.AIA and engineer Mehdi Karamnejad, ARKI is positioned to become the most effective AI solution for architecture and engineering firms, serving as a single source of truth and strengthening quality control. 👋Congratulations to the ARKI team, we're thrilled to be on this journey with you. Stay tuned as we spotlight more BOOST 6 companies in the weeks ahead.

    CEO & Founder at Kojo

Went on Bloomberg TV earlier today to talk about what's happening in the construction industry, building data centers, and the growth we're seeing at Kojo. We've crossed $5 billion a year in materials purchased through Kojo and are deployed on tens of thousands of job sites in the US, including some of the most ambitious and important projects in the country. If you'd like to learn more - get in touch. Thanks for having me Bloomberg Television! Check out the interview here: https://lnkd.in/d9jecFa3

  • Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming our BOOST 6 founders to Boston for our annual Pre-Launch Program. Over two packed days, founders: ✅ Connected with our team, Operating Partners and fellow founders ✅ Gained insights from past BOOST founders, Nicholas Selz (Kaya AI) and Derrick Morse, P.E. (Rugged Robotics) ✅ Joined Construction Tech 101 and Fundraising 101 sessions to build a strong foundation for the program ✅ Stepped onto a Suffolk jobsite to see cutting-edge solutions shaping construction today Even more valuable than the sessions was the chance to meet each founder face-to-face, hear their stories, and get inspired by their vision for the future of the built world. We can’t wait to see what this cohort accomplishes during BOOST, and beyond! Stay tuned for more about Demo Day, and check out https://lnkd.in/gHza8NZG for details on everything happening in Boston this November around the Built World!

    CEO & Founder at Kojo

I’m proud to announce that we’ve officially partnered with Wesco - the largest electrical distributor in the US. As part of our partnership, Wesco invested $10M in our Series C extension (led by Battery Ventures) bringing our Series C to $49 million, and our total raised to date to $94 million. Both of our teams have been hard at work building new products that allow contractors to achieve unprecedented efficiency and accuracy on project delivery. Our first joint launch is our new AI product – Project POs – which we built to simplify our customers’ most complex and long lead time orders, especially on data centers. There’s a lot more innovation to come. On a personal note - I learnt that this is the most venture funding raised by a female founder in construction tech history. That’s both humbling and motivating. Especially since when we started, people told me that being a 25 year old female CEO in construction tech wouldn’t get me far. Thank you Axios and Colin Campbell for the write up! To learn more, check out www.usekojo.com. We’re hiring!
