Yesterday, MDIMH Founder and Executive Director Christine Kim joined Congressman Jason Crow in Colorado as he reintroduced the PUPP Act, national legislation that will provide funding so that people will be able to keep their pets with them when entering emergency housing. Housing DV Survivors Together With Their Pets 📢 Office for Victims of Crime Grant Opportunity - Grant Application Due by Aug 15 OVC FY25 Emergency and Transitional Pet Shelter and Housing Assistance for Victims of Domestic Violence Program will provide funding for shelter and transitional housing, and other assistance to survivors of domestic violence and their companion animals (pets, service animals, and emotional support animals). This grant program will provide funding to enable those shelters that want to expand their programming to house domestic violence survivors and their pets.
