The Superior Court of Los Angeles County has officially launched Court Commons, a new pop-up, mobile resource center designed to demystify the court system and connect directly with communities across LA County. Built to educate, engage, and empower, Court Commons brings interactive exhibits, civic education, and self-help resources into neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces that need it most. Court Commons embodies our commitment to making access to justice more transparent, approachable, and people-centered. Thank you to Sylvia White-Irby and the Community Relations team; Martha Almy and the Half Sister Studio team; Room for Magic; First Place for Youth; Object Construction; Stories Illuminated; Peter & Maria Hoey Illustration; Stella Kalinina Photography; Wayland Productions; and the many judges and staff who contributed their time, insight, and creativity. Relive Saturday’s National Adoption Day, where the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, along with the Alliance for Children's Rights, Public Counsel, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, celebrated the adoption of more than 140 children by more than 95 families as part of the 26th annual National Adoption Day.

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the Los Angeles Police Department – JoinLAPD, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney announced the launch of a new automated Firearms Relinquishment Notification System and Portal. This innovative digital platform streamlines how law enforcement is notified when individuals fail to comply with firearms relinquishment orders, enhancing accuracy, communication, and public safety across Los Angeles County. #PublicSafety #LACourt #LACounty
