It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Parks Stearns Jr., who left us on September 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Parks devoted his life to public service and the pursuit of justice. He spent a distinguished career with the FBI, later bringing his expertise and integrity to the insurance industry with Unitrin/Kemper, where he investigated insurance fraud until his retirement. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Parks was a dedicated leader in our community. He served as President of the IASIU - North Texas Chapter and as Director with the International Association of Special Investigation Units, where his guidance, mentorship, and commitment to the fight against fraud left a lasting impact on countless investigators and colleagues. Parks will be remembered not only for his remarkable career but for the integrity, wisdom, and friendship he shared with so many of us. His contributions to our industry and to the people who had the privilege of knowing him will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with Parks’ family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing, and may we honor his legacy by continuing the work he cared for so deeply. https://lnkd.in/g5AQkKqU
