Precision in care is what the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) delivers inside its walls. Precision in execution is what’s shaping the walls themselves. For our project team supporting the Roberts Children’s Health Expansion project, the installation of the curtain wall marks a major milestone in bringing this transformative inpatient tower to life. Rising over 20 stories, the sleek glass and metal façade will become a signature feature of University City’s skyline—and a symbol of CHOP’s commitment to world-class pediatric care for future generations. DPR (joint venture LF Driscoll) is proud to partner with CHOP on this significant project, helping bring their vision for expanded pediatric care to life.
The next major milestone for Roberts Children’s Health, the new inpatient complex on our Philadelphia campus, is the curtain wall installation. 🏗️🔨🚧 Made of glass and metal panels, the curtain wall will serve as a protective envelope and give the community a first glimpse of the complex’s finished look as it rises along the Philadelphia skyline. Did you know that the curtain wall totals around 350k square feet of glass, which is larger than four entire outfield playing surfaces at Citizens Bank Park? Learn more in the link below. ⬇️
