Navigating the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) processes in seismic zones can be challenging, but our team at SurePods has worked hard to define clear requirements that make it easier to integrate our prefabricated bathroom pods into California hospital construction projects. We're proud to announce yet another major milestone: our HCAI Preapproved Prefabricated Components and Systems (PCS) has upgraded to version 3.0, which include the Testing, Inspection, and Observation (TIO) forms along with an inspection matrix. This update streamlines the path for utilizing SurePods in hospital projects across California, accelerating design timelines and reducing inspection requirements compared to traditional stick-built bathrooms or standard offsite construction.
