This week, we had the privilege of hosting our Board of Directors and key investors in Houston. Together, we toured ATHENA, our manufacturing and testing facility, and visited the Houston Ship Channel to see industry-scale #ammonia operations in action, including barges, tanks, and loading facilities that demonstrate how ammonia is already handled safely at scale with existing infrastructure and protocols. The visit sparked meaningful conversations about the growing ammonia economy, its role as a fuel, and how Amogy is positioned to lead the way with our ammonia-to-power technology. At the heart of this vision is ATHENA, transformed from a former oil & gas site into a first-of-its-kind hub for #cleanenergy innovation. The future of #energy starts here! One year ago today, Amogy made history by launching the world’s first carbon-free, ammonia-powered maritime vessel: the NH₃ Kraken. It was an honor to welcome Dr. Evelyn Wang, MIT Vice President for Energy and Climate and leader of MIT Climate Project, along with her team, to ATHENA, our state-of-the-art Houston facility, during Houston Energy and Climate Week. Two years ago, Dr. Wang visited us in Brooklyn while serving as Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s ARPA-E. We were proud to share with her how far we’ve come since then, including the progress of our team and the development of our first-of-its-kind Houston facility.
