8 Years. One Vision. Happy Birthday Cemvita! Eight years ago, Cemvita was just an idea: Could synthetic biology power the energy transition at industrial scale? The answer didn’t come easy, but today, it’s starting to look a lot like a big “yes.” This year marks one of our biggest leaps yet. We are on track to build our first FermWorks™ commercial plant in Brazil, a facility that will turn carbon waste and byproducts into FermOil™ (sustainable bio-oil) and FermNPK™ (sustainable biofertilizer) and show the world that biology can compete head-to-head. And the Cemvita family is making waves beyond our core: Gold H2 is proving biology can unlock subsurface biohydrogen, and Endolith, is harnessing microbes to advance sustainable mining, at scale. What’s next? The next 3 years will be transformative. FermWorks™ Brazil will be up and running and two more will be underway. We’ll invest heavily in AI integration, making our platform smarter, faster, and even more efficient. We are excited to announce that Cemvita has signed a formal engagement agreement with Invest RS, the investment promotion agency of Rio Grande do Sul, to deploy our first industrial‑scale facility in southern Brazil. This groundbreaking facility will produce FermOil™, a low‑carbon bio‑oil feedstock for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and FermNPK™, an innovative biofertilizer for regenerative agriculture .
