A human-first fertility ecosystem, striving to make egg freezing and third party reproduction more accessible for all.

About us

Cofertility is a human-first fertility ecosystem rewriting the egg freezing and egg donation experience. Our Freeze platform enables women to freeze their eggs for free when they donate half of the eggs to a family that otherwise can’t conceive. For intended parents pursuing egg donation, our Family platform serves as a more transparent, ethical egg donor matching platform. We are obsessed with improving the family-building journey — today or in the future — and are in an endless pursuit to make these experiences more positive.

🎤 Our Co-Founder and CEO, Lauren Makler, joined Sammi Tannor Cohen on the Social Currency™ podcast to share how her own fertility journey sparked the idea for Cofertility, exposing her to the transactional nature of traditional egg donation and the life changing empowerment that came from having frozen donated eggs that allowed her to pursue life on her own terms. ✨ “I got to live my life with the gift of frozen eggs. I got to make decisions about my career without worrying about my biological clock. I got to make decisions about my relationship without worrying about my biological clock. The minute I gave birth, I had this deep knowing that I needed to build something in this space... that there should be something different happening in the world of egg donation.” In this conversation, Lauren unpacks the story behind Cofertility, why egg freezing shouldn’t be a luxury, and how our Split program is helping people take control of their timelines. 🎧 Listen to the full episode: Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gxredVgP Spotify: https://lnkd.in/g4iafnKx YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gGce55iH

REMINDER that fertility testing is a powerful way to better understand your body and take control of your reproductive future, but it’s not a total catch all. What you can test: Ovarian reserve – via AMH or antral follicle count (AFC) Hormone levels – including FSH, LH, estradiol, and more Fallopian tube openness – with an HSG test What you can’t test (yet): Egg quality – there’s currently no reliable test How long you’ll be fertile – hormone levels can’t predict this Whether you’ll conceive naturally – these tests don’t give a yes/no answer If you’re in your 20s or early 30s and thinking about egg freezing, understanding what tests can tell you early on can help you build a plan that works best for you down the line. Cofertility Medical Advisor Dr. Meera Shah breaks it all down, here: https://lnkd.in/eWz3_8bN

  • 🗞️ In case you haven’t seen, our Co-Founder and CEO Lauren Makler was featured in Healthcare Brew sharing more about what we care about most: reimagining egg donation in a way that’s more equitable, transparent, and human! "I really wanted to do something about access, and then at the same time, I felt intended parents deserved more options and deserved options that felt more in alignment with the way they wanted to grow their family,” Our Split Program is reshaping how people build families, making it possible for donors to freeze their eggs for free, while helping intended parents access donor eggs from people who are thoughtfully and compassionately showing up. 📢 Thank you to all the donors, intended parents, and partners who are part of this movement! 📰Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eTMMnwit
