A human-first fertility ecosystem, striving to make egg freezing and third party reproduction more accessible for all.

About us

Cofertility is a human-first fertility ecosystem rewriting the egg freezing and egg donation experience. Our Freeze platform enables women to freeze their eggs for free when they donate half of the eggs to a family that otherwise can’t conceive. For intended parents pursuing egg donation, our Family platform serves as a more transparent, ethical egg donor matching platform. We are obsessed with improving the family-building journey — today or in the future — and are in an endless pursuit to make these experiences more positive.

In fertility care, support comes from so many places: a friend who stays up late talking you through all the anxieties, a partner keeping the logistics together, a nurse who makes the impossible feel manageable, a physician who brings clarity and hope. Today we’re launching the Hope & Heart Awards to honor those people. Because behind every fertility journey is someone who showed up with heart💛 Nominations are open until December 12 https://lnkd.in/eXtRnbaF

  • Meet our Member Advocate of the Month: Emily Delgado! ✨ With a career rooted in family-building and compassionate care, Emily brings intention, empathy, and lived experience to every member she supports. Before joining Cofertility, she spent years helping families grow, first at the nation’s only adoption agency with an on-site nursery, and later expanding access to insurance-covered lactation support. As a mother of four, her own reproductive health journey shapes the grounded, heart-forward support she offers every day. At Cofertility, Emily is deeply committed to ensuring that every member feels seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their paths to parenthood. 💬 On what drew her to Cofertility: “After my youngest turned one, I had this strong feeling that I wanted to help other people become parents, just like so many helped my husband and me. When I came across Cofertility, I felt an immediate alignment. The intentionality behind the mission and the human-centered approach to fertility care made it clear this was where I could truly make a difference.” 🤍 On the most rewarding part of her work: “I know nobody’s first choice is to build their family through egg donation. For intended parents, there are many paths they have considered. For our Split members, it is about finding where family fits into everything else in their lives. I find real joy in taking a process that can feel heavy at times and doing everything I can to lighten it.” 💡 On what she wishes more people knew about egg donation: “When you work with the right people, it can be an incredibly human-centered experience. My own journey once felt clinical and isolating until I connected with a team that made me feel supported and understood. That is what this process can be: a group of people coming together to work toward something amazing.” Get to know more about Emily and her incredible work at the 🔗 below! https://lnkd.in/ewgpd7wa

Four years ago we incorporated Cofertility with the goal to make egg freezing more accessible. The model is simple: women can freeze and store their eggs *for free* when donating half to a family that can’t otherwise concieve. We’ve since helped women freeze over 3,500 eggs while helping hundreds of others build their families. I love this mission, this model, and serving as Board Chair to support our incredible CEO, Lauren Makler ❤️

  • 📣 We’re thrilled to share that our Level the Playing Field campaign earned two honors at the 10th Annual Shorty Awards: Silver Honoree in Data & Insights and Finalist in Healthcare & Pharma. 🎉 In partnership with For All Mothers+, this campaign brought national attention to an overlooked truth in women’s sports. Through our research with 350+ athletes, we uncovered systemic barriers impacting female athletes: • 70% delay family-building for their careers • 95% believe motherhood would harm their earning potential • 92% receive zero institutional fertility support We’re grateful to all of the athletes, leaders, and organizations who helped elevate this conversation from day one. • Meet our Member Advocate of the Month: Juli Textor ✨ With over 15 years of experience in fertility, surrogacy, and birth work, Juli brings deep empathy, wisdom, and care to every member she supports. Before joining Cofertility, she worked as a surrogacy case manager, guiding intended parents and gestational carriers through every stage of their journeys. She’s also served as a birth and postpartum doula, birth assistant, and childbirth educator helping families feel grounded and supported through life-changing moments. At Cofertility, Juli is passionate about ensuring members feel truly seen and empowered throughout their family-building experiences. 💬 On what drew her to Cofertility: “Initially I was interested in deepening my knowledge of third-party reproduction. When I found Cofertility, I knew it was where I was meant to be. Our mission to make egg freezing and donation more accessible, less transactional, and more human-centered completely resonated with me.” 🤍 On the most rewarding part of her work: “Without a doubt, the most rewarding part is witnessing dreams come true. The work we do is life-altering, and it’s an honor to play even the smallest role in that.” 💡 On what she wishes more people knew about egg donation: “Egg donation is evolving in the most beautiful ways. More donors and intended parents are embracing openness and transparency, and the industry is shifting toward a truly compassionate, human-centered approach. It’s exciting to see Cofertility leading the way there.” Get to know more about Juli and her incredible work: https://lnkd.in/e8EpJSAH

Honored and grateful that my work week is once again jam-packed with conversations and connections driving women’s health forward. I'm on my way to Boston for WHIS (the Women’s Health Innovation Summit) from November 5-6, and then on Saturday, November 8, I’ll be speaking at the Women’s Health Summit at Harvard Business School alongside an incredible group of leaders shaping the future of women’s health. I’ll be representing Cofertility on the Scaling in the Shadows panel, where we’ll discuss how our organizations are driving innovation and impact in women’s health while navigating taboo, stigma, and systemic barriers. Looking forward to sharing more with the HBS community about Cofertility and how we’re reimagining fertility care to make it more empowering and equitable.
