Speakers shared regional and global examples—from long-duration energy storage and vanadium batteries to green hydrogen microgrids and zero-emission mobility, showing how innovation is helping scale clean energy in islands, weak-grid zones, and transport systems. The session also covered financing models and market mechanisms. Institutions like CIF and ADB highlighted blended finance and project structuring, while digital platforms were discussed as enablers for hydrogen certification and global trade. India’s experience in building critical mineral value chains, spanning exploration, processing, recycling, and partnerships was also presented as a template for countries aiming to strengthen domestic supply and reduce external dependence.
