I propose that all politicians must have cameras installed and streamed 24/7 in any spaces they regularly occupy. This includes offices, private homes, and even bathrooms. These spaces must have enough cameras that there are no blind spots within the rooms. Let’s make every politician live in a very literal manifestation of 1984. If I lived in Kanas and was forced to use the men’s restroom, I would get a concealed carry permit. The problem with me using the men’s restroom is that I don’t look even remotely male. So by using the restroom the law requires me to, I would inevitably get accosted eventually by some man telling me I’m in the wrong bathroom. I would carry and stand my ground when accosted by someone simply for following the law they wanted. Maybe after a few cis people are dead on the ground laws like this will be shut down.

Reforms like that could prevent a lot of tax-dodging shenanigans.

Your talking points are ten years out of date. The cheapest form of baseload power now is batteries plus solar. For seasonal variations? Nuclear is so expensive that it’s far cheaper to just build enough to meet your winter electricity demand and have abundant power the rest of the year.
