Summary of Changes

Hello @jbovet, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

I've implemented a new feature to detect and display whether a given certificate is self-signed. This involves extending the certificate information structure to include this new property, adding the core logic to identify self-signed certificates, and then integrating this information into both the detailed text output and the summary table view, providing clear visual cues for self-signed status.

Highlights

  • Certificate Information Enhancement: The CertificateInfo struct now includes an is_self_signed boolean field to indicate if a certificate is self-signed.
  • Self-Signed Detection Logic: A new public function is_self_signed_certificate has been added to src/lib.rs. This function determines if a certificate is self-signed by checking if its subject and issuer names are identical and if it can be cryptographically verified using its own public key.
  • Integration into TLS Data: The is_self_signed property is now populated when creating TLS objects, ensuring this information is available for display.
  • Output Format Updates (Text): The TextFormat output now includes a line explicitly stating whether a certificate is self-signed.
  • Output Format Updates (Summary Table): The SummaryFormat table now features a new column labeled "Self-Signed", displaying "Yes" (yellow) or "No" (green) based on the certificate's self-signed status.

Code Review

This pull request adds detection for self-signed certificates and displays this information in the output. The implementation for self-signed certificate detection in src/lib.rs is correct but can be written more idiomatically in Rust to improve conciseness and readability. Additionally, there's some code duplication in src/main.rs when creating table cells for the summary output, which can be refactored for better maintainability. My review includes suggestions for these improvements.
