Harshil Jain is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, Menlo Park, California. He graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He was recently working an Applied AI/ML Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Palo Alto, California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) with Honours in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar), Gujarat, India in January 2021. He has previously worked as a Member of Technical Staff - 2 at Nutanix. He has been awarded the prestigious National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Scholarship by the NCERT Delhi in 2015. He is also the recipient of the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship by the Govt. of India in 2015. He has been awarded the most prestigious and coveted DAAD WISE Scholarship by Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) among 130 students from all over India among 2000+ applications for pursuing research at the Data and Web Science Group, University of Mannheim in Germany during Summer 2020. He pursued a research internship at IISc Bangalore during Summer 2019. He has also been a deep learning researcher at NeuralSpace, London during Summer 2020. He has published research papers in workshops at reputed conferences - EMNLP 2020 and ECCV 2020. He is passionate about Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
