I'm using a staff card (the green one) and it work perfectly fine. The card actually uses a Mifare DESFire. |

Yep, I think in the meantime they also replaced the old Mifare Classic "Campus card" with new DESFire cards. |

I tested it successfully. Probably only the new "CAU-Card" (student identity card) is supported, not the older "Campus Card" (Mifare Classic) that might still be in use by university staff.
