AxCROSS 2025 Open Call に「オーロラ氷」を提案させていただきます。ポートフォリオがないため、展示環境に適した図案も用意しました。I'd like to propose "Aurora Ice" for the AxCROSS 2025 Open Call. Since I have no portfolio, I've also prepared a draft of the work suitable for the display environment.

漠然とした記憶があります。パープルと黒のアクアリウムが並ぶ唸っている部屋。空を彩る 7 月 4 日の花火。ライトアップされた噴水と水面に反射する光。おばあちゃんのガラス細工ミニチュア動物コレクション。大聖堂のステンドグラス。氷の菓子を売っているお店。自分の旅が他人の目的地になるように、もう一度行ってみたいです。

I have vague recollections. A room of aquariums, humming, purple and black. 4th of July fireworks painting the sky. Illuminated fountains and lights reflecting off the water. My grandmother's glass animal collection. The cathedral's stained glass. A shop selling ice candy. As one's travels become another's destination, I'd like to go there again.

図案に以下の点を考慮しました

• 部屋はかなり暗いです。黒をベースにして、作品が溶け込んでその雰囲気に生かします。The room is fairly dark: the work blends into and builds off of that ambiance by using a black base.

• 荒い切り替えや見えにくい時期を避けるために均一な輝度のカラーパレットを使いました。I used an even-luminance color palette to avoid jarring transitions and difficult to see phases.

• 明るい色よりも、集中力を必要とせず、見る人を引き込む深い色の方が、客さんがリラックスでき、時間が早く経つと思いました（例えば、ラーメン屋の列で並んでいる客さんなど）。Rather than bright colors, I thought deep colors that draw the viewer in while not requiring significant focus would allow shoppers to relax and would make time pass quickly (or instance, while waiting in line for ramen).

• 抽象的な形や建築的なパターンを使うことで、建物そのものを引き立てています。The work enhances the building itself by using abstract shapes and architectural patterns.

• 作品が複数のスペクトルをゆっくりと移り変わるから長時間見ていても疲れません。Watching, even for long times, isn't tiring due to the way the work shifts slowly over multiple spectrums.

• また、炎、霜の行進、額縁ガラスの３つのモードがあります。何度見ても新鮮ですし客は珍しいモードに出会える可能性にドキドキして期待できます。The work also has several distinct modes - flames, marching frost, and framed glass - so even if you see it many times it will stay fresh, and shoppers can feel excitement at the possibility of seeing a rare mode.
