fcitx-tablet is a project to bring tablet-handwriting support to fcitx. I developed it out of my own desire to practise writing Hanzi (overuse of Pinyin means you forget how to write). I have implemented just enough support for it to be applicable to my setup, but it is very modular and easy to extend for different tablets or recognition engines, so could conceivably be used to input any language.
