This repository includes ready-to-run scripts that demonstrate how to:
Client Management
- create-client.sh - Create a new client in the system
- get-client-by-id.sh - Get a specific client by ID
- list-clients.sh - List all clients with optional filtering
- patch-client.sh - Update an existing client
- list-client-statuses.sh - Fetch available client statuses (new, in progress, moved, etc)
- list-attributes.sh - Retrieve client custom questions/attributes
Referral Management
- create-referral-organization.sh - Create a new referral organization
- create-referral-contact.sh - Create a referral contact for an organization
- list-referral-organizations.sh - List all referral organizations
- list-referral-contacts.sh - List all referral contacts
User Management
- list-users.sh - List all users
Each script requires your API key to be set as an environment variable:

1. Create a Client
./create-client.shAfter creation, verify the client appears in your dashboard. Save the returned client_id for the next steps.
2. Get Client by ID
./get-client-by-id.sh <client_id>Replace <client_id> with the ID from step 1.
3. List All Clients
./list-clients.sh4. Update a Client
./patch-client.sh <client_id>Replace <client_id> with the ID of the client you want to update.
5. Create a Referral Organization
./create-referral-organization.shSave the returned organization_id - you'll need it for the next step.
6. Create a Referral Contact
./create-referral-contact.sh --organization-id <organization_id>Replace <organization_id> with the ID from step 5.
