Method: projects.getSettings

Gets the settings for the given resource.

Note: Settings can be retrieved for Google Cloud projects, folders, organizations, and billing accounts.

GET https://logging.googleapis.com/v2/{name=projects/*}/settings

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. The resource for which to retrieve settings.

"organizations/[ORGANIZATION_ID]/settings"
"billingAccounts/[BILLING_ACCOUNT_ID]/settings"
"folders/[FOLDER_ID]/settings"

For example:

"organizations/12345/settings"

Note: Settings can be retrieved for Google Cloud projects, folders, organizations, and billing accounts.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • logging.settings.get

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Settings.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.read
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.admin
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.read-only
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
