During our event in Los Angeles with The Female Quotient, Lina Polimeni joined Bryce Norbitz, Tig Notaro and Cynthia Littleton to formally announce the Incubator Program, a new initiative from Tribeca Studios and Eli Lilly & Company, which aims to empower rising filmmakers to more earnestly portray diseases and health-related stories on-screen. The program is an outgrowth of a landmark study, sponsored by Lilly in partnership with Dr. Stacy L. S. and the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, that highlights how film and television shows rarely represent people living with diseases in ways that are accurate or authentic. Pure magic ✨ The Female Quotient and Tribeca X hosted a brunch in celebration of the #Emmys, gathering incredible voices to explore how storytelling shapes culture.
