- [Instructor] Here we are in Power Apps. We got here by browsing to make.powerapps.com. Power Apps runs in a browser. It is what's called software as a service, or SaaS, S-A-A-S. One good thing about software as a service is that new features can be made available quickly for millions of users simply by changing the website. In this case, the Power Apps website. We don't have to install anything because there's nothing on our computer, we're actually working here in the browser. One downside to this ease of changing software is that if I log in today, I may see something totally different than when I logged in a week ago or a month ago. There's a gap, and that gap grows over time between the software that is captured in user documentation or in a course like this, and the software that is available to you when you log in that day.
