Choose Your Path:

The Supervisory Leader (Supervisory General Engineer)

• Lead a Branch: Plan, organize, and direct a team of engineering professionals.
• Drive Project Portfolios: Oversee up to 10 concurrent projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Develop Your Team: Provide coaching, set priorities, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

OR

The Senior Technical Expert (General Engineer - SME)

• Advise Senior Leadership: Serve as the trusted advisor and subject matter expert (SME) on engineering, construction, and building code compliance.
• Solve Critical Problems: Investigate complex system issues, develop innovative solutions, and ensure the integrity of our most vital facilities.
• Ensure Technical Excellence: Review and approve designs, draft technical specifications, and provide expert oversight on major construction and renovation projects.

Shared Core Responsibilities & Qualifications (For Both Roles):

• Manage projects through their full lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and closeout.
• Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), providing technical administration of contracts.
• Liaise with high-level military and civilian managers, contractors, and other DoD agencies.
• Brief senior leadership on project status, risks, and strategic recommendations.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven mastery of multi-disciplinary engineering (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
• Demonstrated ability in managing the planning, design, and construction of major projects.
• Required: Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) License.
• Required: PMP certification or equivalent within 2 years; COR certification within 1 year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Department of Defense experience is a significant plus!
