Happy Patient Transport Week! This week is a special time to celebrate the amazing work of our Patient Transport team. I feel very lucky to manage both the Environmental Services (EVS) and Patient Transport departments. In this role, I have learned so much about how vital Patient Transport is to our hospital. The team members do more than just move patients; they are the heart and soul of the hospital. Their hard work and dedication help create a caring and safe environment for everyone. Having an efficient and effective Patient Transport team is important for many reason.
