Social Media Manager

Position Overview

One of our Fashion client, home to some of the world's most coveted footwear brands, is seeking a digitally fluent and highly creative Social Media & Content Manager. This role will lead the day-to-day social media presence and content creation across multiple fashion-forward brands, helping shape and grow our digital voice and community.

This is a full-time, direct hire position that will be hybrid, needing to be on-site 4 days a week in Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
• Concept, shoot, and edit native social content (photo and short-form video)
• Monitor platform trends and quickly turn insights into reactive content
• Manage community engagement (DMs, comments, tags, etc.) in real-time
• Collaborate with PR, Creative, Brand, and Ecomm teams to align messaging and assets
• Track performance and assist with monthly reporting and insights
• Support influencer activations and brand moments as needed with live or behind-the-scenes content
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in social media, digital content, or marketing
• Strong grasp of platform best practices and native content trends
• Skilled in shooting and editing short-form video and photography (iPhone and basic apps/tools)
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments, tight turnarounds, and multitasking across brands
• Eye for aesthetics, fashion, and visual storytelling
• Familiar with tools like Canva, Capcut, Later/Planoly, and/or native platform editors
