Base pay range
The Sr. Manager - Corporate & Social Communications, reporting to the Head of Communications, will join a growing team of PR experts that support a variety of top-tier company initiatives including brand announcements and launches, events and supporting the priorities of Overtime’s co-founders.
The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable building a network of online relationships across a variety of platforms - with the goal of creating collaborative content celebrating innovation and disruption in the sports media industry. They will have a keen eye for storytelling and platform trends - and be able to recommend content opportunities, or produce content themselves to help advance any given project.
- Podcast Placement & Media Outreach
- Secure interviews on national top-tier business, sports and entertainment podcasts, XX voice for Overtime’s executive team
- Identify and build relationships with podcast hosts, producers, and bookers aligned with company/brand values and target audiences
- Research, pitch, and secure podcast interview opportunities for company leaders or spokespersons
- Speaking Engagements & Event Opportunities
- Secure relevant and impactful speaking opportunities for Overtime’s C-Suite executives both nationally and internationally
- Collaborate with CEO and key business leaders to identify content opportunities and unique perspectives aligned with brand positioning and industry narratives
- Draft and publish LinkedIn posts/articles and produce content that celebrate innovation and achievements
- Build network of Creators on-platform to assist in distribution of content and narratives
- Monitor LinkedIn engagement, respond to comments/inquiries, and optimize posting times/frequency
- Track analytics to evaluate post performance, follower growth, and thought leadership impact
- Stay up to date on LinkedIn trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to refine strategy
- General
- Continually bring new creative and strategic approaches that will optimize company objectives and goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key podcasters + key organizers across both traditional and social platforms
- Demonstrate good judgment in escalating problems and assessing communication risk
- Other duties as assigned
