Job Summary:
The Regional Operations Director (“Director”) is responsible for the overall operational performance and strategic management of multiple branches. The Director will oversee daily branch operations, ensure adherence to company standards, drive operational efficiencies, and manage branch performance to achieve profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction goals. This leader will lead, coach, and mentor branch managers, support staff development, and maintain consistent communication with company leadership.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop branch managers, fostering an environment of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure each branch meets KPIs, including revenue targets, P&L adherence, operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Work with branch managers to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve profitability, and control expenses without compromising quality.
Set and review performance goals for branch managers and branch staff, providing regular feedback, guidance, and support.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee the implementation of training programs to improve skill sets and operational knowledge across all branches.
Ensure branches adhere to company quality and service standards to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Monitor and address customer feedback, working with branch managers to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Enforce safety standards and ensure each branch is compliant with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and work with branch managers to implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish long-term goals for regional growth and development.
Identify and implement new strategies to drive market expansion and operational scalability.
Participate in Vanterra’s merger and acquisition strategy.
Provide onboarding support for new company acquisitions.
Lead and assist with training other branch locations.
Manage training and operational efficiency teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of multi-site management experience, preferably in the construction, foundation repair, or home services industries.
Proven experience in budget management, performance improvement, and staff development.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and operational compliance standards, including warehouse and fleet management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region regularly.
