  • Reports to: VP of Operations
  • Must Have: CPG manufacturing + Advanced Google Sheets Exp.

About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing partner to emerging CPG brands, helping them scale efficiently by managing critical supply chain, operations, and systems functions. The team is comprised of food, beverage, nutrition, and natural products industry veterans who have cultivated trusted relationships throughout the value chain over the past 20+ years. Collectively, they have built, led, and serviced some of the most respected consumer brands and contract manufacturing companies in the industry.

With a small but dynamic team, they value adaptability, strong communication, and a drive to build smarter systems that enable their partners’ success.

The Role

We are seeking an Operations Analyst who will serve as the connective tissue between data, systems, and supply chain operations. This role is equal parts Google Sheets expert, inventory/demand planner, and hands-on operator managing the purchase order cycle. You’ll help streamline workflows, build scalable processes, and ensure brand partners’ operations run smoothly.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to leadership, with significant opportunity for growth as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

Tech & Systems (40%)

  • Build and maintain interconnected Google Sheets workbooks, creating a single source of truth for inventory and operations.
  • Develop lightweight integrations between Google Sheets and tools such as Asana, Notion, and Slack to reduce manual work.
  • Continuously optimize processes, identify inefficiencies, and create better internal systems for scale.

Demand Planning & Inventory (35%)

  • Support demand planning primarily on the supply chain/inventory side for ~5–10 active brand partners.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations after production runs (weekly or monthly depending on brand cadence).
  • Resolve discrepancies with contract manufacturers, ensuring accurate records and forecasts.
  • Assist in developing forecasting tools and master inventory dashboards across all brands.

Operations & PO Cycle (25%)

  • Track POs through the full cycle—from issuance to supplier, through logistics, to inventory reconciliation.
  • Manage supporting paperwork and data entry tied to inbound materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain clear SOPs to ensure consistent execution across accounts.

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced Google Sheets skills (index-match, query, array formulas, pivot tables; experience consolidating multi-sheet workbooks; bonus for app script or automation).
  • CPG or supply chain operations experience (inventory management, demand planning, or production reconciliation preferred).
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to move between 70% analytical / 30% tactical at first, then adjust as systems mature.
  • Excellent communication skills; thrives in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter who’s resourceful, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple accounts/projects at once.
  • Flexible mindset—able to step outside your lane when the team needs it.
  • 3+ years of relevant operations or supply chain experience preferred, but open to earlier-career talent with strong skills and drive.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus, not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000–$100,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
  • 100% premium coverage for employee medical, dental, and vision plans; 25% coverage for dependents.
  • 401(k) plan with generous company match.
  • Flexible PTO policy and paid holidays.
