Manager of Hotel Openings & Transitions – Americas (Remote)

Client, one of the largest and fastest-growing hospitality companies globally, is looking for a Manager of Hotel Openings & Transitions to join our team. With a portfolio of 14 iconic brands and more than 5,100 properties across 103 countries, we’re shaping the future of hospitality—and we want you to be part of it.

In this role, you’ll lead the hotel opening process for new builds, conversions, brand transitions, and exits, ensuring each property is set up for success from day one. You’ll be the face of Client to owners, management groups, and hotel staff, collaborating across teams like Revenue Management, Design & Construction, and eCommerce.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Present to large groups of hotel management and ownership teams, sharing critical updates and plans.
  • Guide hotels through all critical and brand-recommended opening tasks using our online tools.
  • Oversee initialization of new hotels across sales, marketing, reservations, and global distribution systems.
  • Tackle unique challenges—like expedited openings or special requests—with creativity and precision.
  • Ensure all hotel information in GDS, PIM, CRS, and brand websites is accurate and fully optimized.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple openings at once.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to work independently and keep teams on track.
  • Experience delivering outstanding customer service and managing relationships at all levels, including senior management.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in branded hotels, and 3+ years of management experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10%+).

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (MA/MS).
  • 4+ years in branded hotel experience.
  • Additional language skills.
