Qualifications

Internship Opportunity – Education Department

The Education Department at EveryMind is seeking an intern with a background in Public Health, Mental Health, or a related field to support its day-to-day operations and help implement community mental health education initiatives throughout the National Capital Region.

What You’ll Gain & Learn:

  • Workshop Coordination & Facilitation – Assist with organizing and delivering trainings such as Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) and Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)
  • Community Outreach – Engage with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote mental health literacy
  • Educational Material Development – Help create training materials, resources, and presentations to support mental health education efforts
  • Program Tracking & Grant Reporting – Collect data, track program outcomes, and contribute to grant reporting to measure program impact
  • Hands-On Program Implementation – Gain practical experience in launching and managing community education programs to increase mental health awareness in diverse populations
