Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead and elevate our HR function in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This individual will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership across departments
Oversee and lead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Design and implement HR policies and procedures that support organizational goals and reflect best practices
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build an inclusive culture
Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
Develop strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction
Oversee benefits administration and compensation planning in partnership with Finance
Monitor HR metrics and provide reports and insights to leadership
Lead HRIS optimization and data-driven decision-making
Support change management and organizational design initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR leadership role
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Paylocity, or similar
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive change in a fast-paced environment
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
