The Early Intervention Mental Health Service Provider assists students whose behavior interferes with their ability to obtain maximum benefit from the educational program. Acts as liaison between parents/guardians, school, and public and private agencies responsible for student care and services. Active member of the GISD’s Behavior Health Team. Work should align and support 31n grant activities.

Available

Six (6) full-time positions; 37.5 hours per week, 188 days.

Salary

Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Benefits

Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law.

Qualifications

Must be certified under one of the following credentials:

  • A psychiatrist;
  • A licensed master’s level psychologist;
  • An MDE credentialed master’s level school psychologist;
  • A licensed master’s level marriage and family therapist;
  • A licensed master’s level professional counselor;
  • A licensed master’s level social worker;
  • A licensed master’s level school social worker.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Experience

None required; successful school social work experience preferred.
