LOCATION: Must reside in the NE - Boston, MA areas.
SUMMARY: Increase market share within an assigned geographical territory in accordance with company marketing strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source, evaluate, and recommend viable distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturer representatives to market products in the assigned territory.
Train and provide support to distributor/wholesaler/manufacturer representatives to establish an effective network.
Maintain close relationships with the distributor/wholesaler/manufacturer representative network to determine competitive sales trends, competitor activities, and competitor pricing.
Develop leads for medium to large construction projects, pursuing opportunities through engineering firms, architects, and general contractors for quoting purposes. Follow up on quotes to obtain orders.
Assist in developing territory-specific marketing strategies to build name recognition for company products.
Investigate customer complaints regarding defective products or unsatisfactory service, recommending and implementing appropriate actions necessary to resolve complaints. Ensure satisfactory conclusion between the customer and the company.
Ensure all documentation and procedures are maintained in accordance with ISO policies relating to the Environmental Management System and Quality Management System.
Maintain up-to-date information concerning sales prices, product availability, production schedules, profit contribution, sales policies, sales trends, and status of current orders to meet marketing objectives and assure the company satisfies customer requirements to the greatest practical extent.
Maintain memberships and actively participate in relevant association and affiliated industry groups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage provincial sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
