Job Description

Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Marketing will have global responsibility for the planning, development, and execution of Connexall’s integrated global Marketing and Corporate Communications strategy and roadmap. This includes overseeing all aspects of Marketing and internal/external Corporate Communications such as brand development, digital design, lead generation campaigns, social media, and public relations initiatives to drive awareness and growth of Connexall in the global healthcare market. In addition, the Director of Marketing will provide strategic communications guidance to the Connexall Management team.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and lead Marketing & Corporate Communications team to ensure appropriate skilled resources are in place to successfully execute deliverables.
  • Mentor employees to enhance business acumen and foster their professional development to ensure their success.
  • Recruit new members, where required.
  • Lead overall Marketing Roadmap to ensure cross-functional teams understand and are aligned to focus areas, deliverables, dates, required resources, budget, etc.
  • Define and execute brand strategy to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and positioning.
  • Coordinate campaigns to drive new Sales opportunities, track performance, and report directly to the executive leadership team.
  • Cultivate ongoing customer insights to anticipate their needs, understand best practices, and identify new industry & technology trends.
  • Build out Customer Case Studies Library by delivering relevant and referenceable examples of Connexall’s capabilities.
  • Formalize launch processes for products and campaigns, ensuring a consistent experience for internal stakeholders, and a more timely and compelling external launch experience.
  • Do more with partners to help drive Connexall’s brand into a new or existing market, by leveraging the reach and experience of partners, ultimately, driving new revenue opportunities for Connexall.
  • Build out Connexall Use Case Library to promote new use cases to help Sales and the market understand both the technical side (how it works) and the business benefits of Connexall’s capabilities.
  • Manage strategic events through the development of a measurable strategic plan outlining recommendations on which industry events to participate in, how to deliver Connexall events (e.g. live or virtual), and secure a project owner to lead the event (e.g. owning budget, theme, driving stakeholder accountability, messaging and communicate post launch scorecard of lessons learned).
  • Lead overall Communications Roadmap, ensuring cross-functional teams understand and are aligned to focus areas, deliverables, dates, required resources, budget, etc.
  • Manage Connexall’s online presence, focused on an end-to-end refresh of website content, design, and communications strategy for Connexall’s internal and external websites.
  • Develop and drive the narrative for Connexall by leading internal and external communications and ensuring consistent, professional tone and delivery of Connexall messaging. This includes, but is not limited to:


  • Formalize protocols and guidelines for assessment, creation, approval, and distribution of corporate communications for all printed and digital assets (e.g. customer letters, press releases, media calls, corporate sponsorship, event messaging, website content, Sales collateral, Product Bulletins, training materials, etc.).
  • Provide strategic communications guidance to the Executive Management team, including all internal and external memos.
  • Manage media and public relations engagements.
  • Manage Marketing Automation Tools.


  • Continuously evaluate and adjust communication strategies to meet changing market, customer requirements, and competitive conditions.
  • Drive Social Media Marketing tactics to increase followers and engagement.
  • Lead the positioning of Corporate Mission, Vision, Values (MVV) by assuming responsibility for reinforcement of the corporate identity, through the development and communication of Connexall’s Mission, Vision, Values.
  • Ensure that the MVV is woven into the corporate culture, through employee awareness programs, external campaigns, and messaging.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or relevant field required.
  • Master’s degree, PhD, or MBA in relevant field preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required.
  • Technical knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Healthcare knowledge or experience is an asset.
  • Great leadership skills with the ability to manage people, processes, and tools across geographic locations.
  • Ability to intimately understand the details and nuances of Connexall’s product market and buyers.
  • Experience designing, developing, and driving overall marketing strategy.
  • Expert in understanding the sales and product pipeline and the role of marketing at each stage of the opportunity funnel and the client expansion path.
  • Proven experience effectively bringing new campaigns and ideas to life.
  • Ability to successfully utilize events as a key platform for growth in awareness and demand generation.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to present complex material to both technical teams and consumers, in a simple and intuitive manner that relates to each audience.
  • Must be data driven, with strong analytical skills.
  • Must use data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development.
  • Creative and adaptable with strong execution abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate and work cross functionally for the betterment of the company.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and work in a fast-moving environment.
