Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client for an exciting Territory Manager opportunity based in Idaho, covering the full Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana territory. The Tri-State Territory Opportunity 🌱 As Territory Manager based in Idaho, you'll be responsible for covering the complete Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana territory. This entry-level position offers:

Your Territory Coverage 📈 You'll be managing the complete Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana territory with tremendous potential for expansion across all three states' food processing and agricultural industries. You'll be instrumental in developing market presence and building the foundation for future territory success across the entire mountain west region.


Key Responsibilities 📋

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships across Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana through regular site visits
  • Travel throughout all three states (ID, WY, MT) to meet with plant management and decision-makers
  • Introduce premium equipment solutions to existing and potential customers across the tri-state territory
  • Participate in complete sales cycles including equipment installation, testing, and commissioning throughout ID/WY/MT
  • Create strategic travel schedules to maximize coverage across Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana
  • Prepare compelling sales presentations, proposals, and technical documentation for tri-state clients
  • Attend industry trade shows, training seminars, and company meetings
  • Conduct competitive analysis and maintain market intelligence across the entire ID/WY/MT region
  • Submit accurate territory forecasts and maintain detailed customer records for all three states
  • Build prospect pipeline through both warm leads and cold prospecting activities across Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana


What We're Looking For 🎯

Required:

  • Currently based in Idaho (will be covering Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana territory)
  • Bachelor's degree (business, engineering, food science, or related field)
  • 2-5 years B2B sales experience (capital equipment experience a plus)
  • Hunger to succeed and grow in a tri-state territory-building role
  • Comfortable with heavy travel expectations (75% travel across ID, WY, MT)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Coachable attitude with long-term career perspective


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with mountain west agricultural and food processing landscape
  • Experience with technical/consultative sales
  • CRM software proficiency
  • Industry knowledge in food processing or manufacturing


Comprehensive Benefits Package 💼

  • Competitive base salary: $75,000-$85,000 with tiered commission structure
  • Commission: 2% (up to $200K), 3% ($200K-$700K), 4% ($700K+), 5% (bakery/full line)
