Wrapping up my summer as a brokerage intern at SVN VERUS Commercial: This internship has been an incredible first step into the world of commercial real estate. While I dove deep into leasing for retail and office space, I also gained hands-on experience in sales and acquisitions of commercial buildings and land, as well as the development process that goes into land projects. From working with clients and touring properties to understanding the ins and outs of underwriting, every day offered something new to learn. The SVN Verus team made all the difference! Everyone was always willing to help, creating a culture that was both inviting and fun, yet focused and driven when it mattered most. I’m grateful for the mentorship, support, and opportunities I had here. This has truly been the best first internship experience I could have asked for, and I’m excited to see where my future in commercial real estate takes me next!
