I'll be in Detroit next week for #RoadmapForth! If you're around, let's connect. On Wednesday, October 15 (1:15 – 2:30 p.m.), I’ll be speaking on the panel “Stronger Together: The Role of Public-Private Partnerships” alongside Stacy Noblet, Amy M Posner, Lisa Thurstin, Lindsay Wiginton, and Zhaodi Culbreath, P.Eng. I’m looking forward to sharing how collaboration can accelerate EV charging and mobility, and to learning from others who are driving this transition forward.

A New York City Council bill introduced by Majority Leader Amanda Farías aims to transform lampposts into EV chargers, promising to expand access to charging across the five boroughs. Voltpost proudly supports this legislation. By reimagining existing infrastructure, New York City can make EV charging more accessible, affordable, and scalable. As our Director of Partnerships, Aditi Desai, shared with Crain's New York Business: “Curbside charging is such a huge market and we do need regulatory support to actually deploy this at scale. We respect some of the concerns that have been brought up, but we think that they’re all workable.” Voltpost remains committed to working with the City of New York and local communities to make curbside charging a reality on every block. ⚡ EV adoption continues to grow and EV charging infrastructure is scaling nationwide. The momentum isn’t partisan; this is progress. The transition to electric mobility creates good American jobs, strengthens U.S. competitiveness, and is advancing across red and blue states. As highlighted in POLITICO’s recent story on the race for EV charger funding, the industry’s trajectory is clear: America is charging forward on electrification. Voltpost is proud to be part of this movement. Built and based in America, we are leading the way with retrofit lamppost EV charging deployments in states coast to coast. We’re committed to making EV charging more affordable and convenient for all Americans. 🔌 Read more in Politico’s latest coverage by James Bikales featuring Voltpost CEO and Co-Founder Jeff Prosserman (link in comments). #EVCharging #CleanEnergy #ElectricVehicles #Infrastructure #MadeInUSA #Mobility #Sustainability #ClimateTech #Innovation #FutureOfTransportation #SmartCities #GreenJobs

I met a personal hero last week. One of those rare people you look up to for a big part of your life. Someone who inspires you when you’re young, whose principles quietly shape your choices as you grow older, and whose work influences the path you take in your career. At the Zero Emission Transportation Association Climate Week NYC event, I had the privilege of meeting former Vice President Al Gore. His call to action in An Inconvenient Truth made me believe that I could have a meaningful impact on the world. At the time, this felt too hard and out of reach. Fast forward to today, when I’ve dedicated my career to climate. A few years ago, I co-founded Voltpost with the mission to decarbonize mobility by democratizing EV charging. By turning everyday lampposts into chargers, we are empowering communities with accessible, sustainable transportation. This mission is deeply personal since I want to create a better climate for my children and the future of humanity. That hope, along with the inspiration I first felt from leaders like Al Gore, and that is carried on by ZETA Executive Director Albert Gore is what fuels my journey to make a positive impact. I walked away from Climate Week inspired and more committed than ever. Together, we will win the race to net-zero. #ClimateWeekNYC #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Decarbonization #EVCharging #EVInfrastructure #ClimateTech #Leadership

⚡Exciting news: We’ve launched Voltpost Air, a new Level-2 charger that mounts on lampposts. Voltpost Air installs in a few hours, costs far less than traditional charger deployment, and is compatible with a wide variety of lampposts and utility poles. Our first installation went live in Brooklyn during New York Climate Week. This deployment marks a major step forward in our mission to decarbonize the planet by democratizing EV charging access, and we’re grateful to our partners at New York City Economic Development Corporation, NYSERDA, and Con Edison for making this possible.
