Today marks two years since the horrific 7 October attack in Israel and the devastating Gaza war that has followed. We join the Secretary-General in welcoming the hope emerging from the current US proposal to implement an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza, secure the unconditional release of all hostages, and ensure unhindered humanitarian access.
