  • At True Environmental, we proudly stand beside the legal minds driving environmental justice forward. Today, we celebrate the powerful partnership between science and law—where ecological expertise meets strategic litigation to protect our planet. As Mark Laska, Ph.D. of our partner firm Great Ecology beautifully puts it: “I am honored to work alongside so many brilliant legal minds in the environmental litigation space. Today’s celebration is a reminder that our impact is greatest when expertise converges, pairing sound ecological science with legal strategy.” From expert witness services to data-driven ecological assessments, our litigation support empowers attorneys to build compelling, science-backed cases. Together, we’re shaping outcomes that matter—for communities, ecosystems, and future generations.

  • August 26 marks a pivotal moment in history—and a powerful reminder of what equality truly means.   On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was certified, granting women the right to vote. More than five decades later, in 1971, Congresswoman Bella Abzug led the charge to officially recognize Women’s Equality Day, honoring the suffragists who fought for change and the generations who continue that work today.   At True Environmental, we celebrate this legacy by championing equity, inclusion, and leadership—not just in words, but in action. From our field teams to our executive offices, women are driving innovation, shaping policy, and protecting the planet.   We’re proud to stand with the women of True Environmental—and with all those who believe that equality is the foundation of a better future.

  • True Environmental is thrilled to celebrate Laurie LaPat-Polasko, Matrix New World Engineering's Vice President and National Director of Remediation, for completing the awe-inspiring Mt. Kilimanjaro climb as part of the 2025 Kiliunited initiative. Earlier this month, Laurie joined a diverse team of climbers—including youth from Kenya, Tanzania, and the United States—on a journey that fused science, community action, and environmental advocacy. The climb, organized by the Kilimanjaro Initiative with support from UNESCO and The Explorers Club, spotlighted the urgent need to protect Natural World Heritage sites and the critical role glaciers and ice play in our planet’s climate system. Please join us in congratulating Laurie on this extraordinary accomplishment and in supporting the mission of Kiliunited and Futurekeepers. Her journey inspires us all to reach new heights—for our communities and our planet.
