The Zip Community is officially live. I joined Zip for two reasons: 1️⃣ The product is genuinely great, and people love using it 2️⃣ Finance and procurement teams face tangled, cross-functional problems you shouldn’t have to solve alone That second part is the point. Sometimes you’re backed up against a wall and ChatGPT can’t bail you out. You need an actual human or a small group of work friends who’ve been there and can give you a straight answer. Over the last 10 months, we’ve co-built that home: A 10-week pilot, AMAs, peer matchups, naming sessions, real workshops, and real hangs. Brick by brick, members shaped what this community is. Built by practitioners, powered by peers. I wrote about the journey. The roots, the pilot, the three pillars, and what’s next. If you’re in #procurement or #finance, I’d love to see you inside.

“I wonder if you could tell me how other teams are solving the same problems we are seeing?.” We’ve heard this from customers again and again. That’s why today, we launched the Zip Community — a space built for procurement + finance leaders to connect with peers, share playbooks, and get faster answers! Inside you’ll find: 💡 Real stories + lessons learned 🤝 A private Slack for AMAs + workshops 📍 Virtual + in-person events that turn connections into relationships This isn’t about more software. It’s about making customers stronger together. Apply today: ziphq.com/community #Procurement #Finance #Community #ZipHQ
The Zip Community is now live. For years, Zip customers and practitioners have been connecting in side-channels to compare notes, swap fixes, and find mentorship. What was missing was a shared space where this energy could live and grow. That’s what we’re building with the Zip Community. The promise is simple: built by practitioners, powered by peers. Here’s what the Zip Community offers from day one. - Thought leadership: Real stories and insights from the experts - Community forum & education: Private Slack with AMAs and practitioner workshops - Events: In-person meetups and virtual sessions to bring online relationships IRL "[The Zip Community] is like having a sounding board to make sure we’re taking advantage of not just the product’s capabilities, but also other perspectives from the industry." - Garner Blume, Procurement Manager at Lattice If this sounds like your kind of room, you can apply to join today: ziphq.com/community

Exciting news for all our customers: The Zip Community is officially live! "It’s like having a sounding board to make sure we’re taking advantage of not just the product’s capabilities, but also other perspectives from the industry." – Garner Blume, Procurement Manager at Lattice. I’ve been at Zip for 3.5 years leading our Customer Team, and I hear it every week: practitioners want a place to connect, swap ideas, and share what’s working. This community has existed in WhatsApp groups, side chats, and conference hallways for years—now we’re finally bringing it together. In our pilot, customers showed us how powerful this could be when designed for real value. Here’s what you’ll find inside: - Thought leadership: real stories and expert insights - Community forum & education: private Slack with AMAs and peer matchups - Events: in-person meetups and virtual sessions that take online relationships offline It’s incredible to finally see it come to life. Hope to see you inside. Check out the video below and come join us. https://lnkd.in/egRtM7pm

Let's be honest... Most vendor conferences are a waste of time. Often, they're thinly veiled sales events... If you're not a customer (or seriously considering becoming one), it's tough to justify the time and travel. → Customer engagement sessions feel irrelevant → Product demos focus on features you don't need → Networking is mostly with existing customers → Content is heavily skewed toward the vendor's solutions Generic industry conferences aren't much better. You get surface-level content that applies to everyone and no one. They often lack practical takeaways you can take home and apply NOW... That's what I find refreshing about Zip Forward... They're taking a different approach. Yes, of course there will be Zip content. BUT they're making a clear, concerted effort to offer tech-agnostic insights that are valuable whether you become a Zip customer or not. The proof? They've asked me to host a session called "A Skeptic's Look at AI in Procurement" 😅 And sessions like mine are not an outlier... Check it out for yourself: https://lnkd.in/ett8TaDY What does this unlock? You can get generally applicable ideas, frameworks and content... ...And "put them to the test" with an actual product then and there. This gives you education and experience at the same time. That's digital literacy development on fast forward (Zip forward?) Now that's the kind of conference content procurement needs more of. Not vendor pitches disguised as education. Actual frameworks you can bring back to work and implement on Monday morning. Whether you use Zip, their competitors, or stick with spreadsheets. What's your experience with vendor versus industry conferences? Where's the sweet spot? Let me know in the comments 👇

Every product on the market seems to be adding “agentic AI” right now. It’s… a lot. But in many cases, and especially in procurement, not every problem is a good fit for agents. In this post, I break down how we at Zip decide which use-cases are worth building: grounded in real problems, keeping humans in the loop, and focusing on the actual work procurement teams do every day. Take a look and tell me what you think!

What an incredible time at #ProcureConEurope, the energy was beyond anything we could have anticipated! We came to connect with procurement leaders across the continent, sharing ideas on the future or orchestration, AI, and next-level collaboration, and left with our hearts and minds completely full of the power of what's possible. Some highlights: Our keynote session with Damyan Grozdanov of Bitpanda; the live calligraphy from Viennese artist Natascha Safarik; an amazing dinner co-hosted with WNS Procurement, a celebration of new and old friends alike! Thanks to everyone who joined us in Vienna, and to the amazing ProcureCon Europe Series organizers who brought it all together. We're inspired and can't wait for the next one! Find out where the Zip team is headed next: https://ziphq.com/events
