I spent Saturday at #TeenVogueSummit surrounded by students and recent grads who are getting ready to take on the #workforce. This year’s summit focused on joy, community, and optimism as fuel for ambition—and the energy was contagious. I met so many job seekers approaching their #careers with creativity, determination, and a real sense of #possibility. Gen Z continues to impress me with their resilience and fresh perspective. I have no doubt this generation will drive innovation and make an incredible impact. (And this lovely student came up to introduce herself and tell me she landed her first internship on Handshake—selfie proof below!) Huge thanks to Teen Vogue for having me and hosting such an energizing event!

  • Meet Nora Smith, Senior Social Media Manager and the person behind all your favorite Handshake posts (yes, even this one 👋). Normally, her days are filled with creative briefs, Figma files, and collaborating with student creators. But this fall, Nora has been on the road—traveling to campuses across the country to celebrate Back to School season with Google Gemini. Her week in the life looked a little different: 📸 a quick photo op with the team at New Jersey Institute of Technology ✈️ catching up on work mid-flight en route to the next city 🍦 sneaking in an ice cream break at The University of Texas at Arlington before heading back to show students how to post on the Handshake feed 💃 and yes, a well-earned dance break along the way Whether she’s behind the camera or behind the scenes, Nora’s work helps students see themselves in the opportunities Handshake makes possible—and keeps our community connected during one of the busiest (and most exciting) seasons of the year.
