This month marks Tal Search Group’s 20th anniversary. I started the company with one client and the equity from a house I had flipped. It was 2005, and the first couple of years were challenging, to say the least. Through determination, perseverance, and grit, I worked through the housing market crash, when no one was hiring. If you turned on the news, the anchor would say, “Yesterday was bad, but today is worse.” So, I focused on what I could control, which at that point wasn’t much. They say the harder you work, the luckier you get. I would agree with that, but I’d also add that being in the right place at the right time plays a role too. Relationships matter.
