Last month, we hosted a seller meetup in Emeryville, CA, with Whatnot seller dailyrefinement. Local sellers gained exclusive access to a warehouse tour, breakout discussions, and the opportunity to connect more deeply with one another. Their favorite part of the event? Learning from and networking with one another. 🤝 One of the highlights included our seller-led breakout sessions, which covered topics such as shipping, marketing, community building, and hiring. They reinforced the power of community, where collaboration, not competition, drives success. Up next: We’re headed to Atlanta, GA, in mid-October with another Whatnot seller, joehollywood - and later this year, we’ll also be launching a Meetups Hub where sellers can find local events or apply to host their own.

A new nationwide survey of Whatnot sellers reveals how live selling is emerging as a powerful tool for resilience, community-building, and new revenue streams in the current economy. 📊 Here’s what we found: - Nearly 90% of Whatnot sellers are highly optimistic about their economic outlook, and 76% expect to substantially grow their business - Over 40% of Whatnot businesses say live selling brings in more repeat customers over any other channel - More than 1 in 3 brick-and-mortar sellers say their live show sales have exceeded in-store sales over the last three months Many sellers are now hiring, expanding, and building businesses that started with a single live show.
