We were so fortunate last month to have such an engaged and energized group at Mid-Pacific Institute for our Wall-to-Wall Studios full day Brand UnWorkshop session. Mahalo again to Melanie Joseph and team (and Ethan W. Chang for the pics and great recap below)! Excited for whatʻs to come. More info here: https://lnkd.in/gg3miREj
🦉Recapping an inspiring day Mid-Pacific Institute’s Brand Workshop! On July 21st, 2025 I had the incredible opportunity for a full-day Brand Workshop led in partnership with Wall-to-Wall Studios — a creative force helping us uncover and articulate the heart of the Mid-Pacific brand. With faculty, staff, and Alumni like myself in the room, we explored what truly makes our community unique. Through group sessions and interactive breakouts, we reflected on our strengths, challenges, audiences, and how we show up in the world — not just through logos or taglines, but through action, purpose, and connection. Thank you to Melanie Joseph and the Communication’s team for inviting me to this incredible workshop, led by Bernard Uy and their amazing team🤙🏽 Some powerful takeaways that stood out: ✅Branding is not selling — it’s connecting. Advertising tells you what to buy. Branding makes you feel something. ✅Emotion is the currency of challenger brands. People remember how you made them feel, not just what you offered. ✅Your logo is not your brand. It’s the sum of the signals we send, the stories we tell, and the values we live. ✅“If you aim for everyone, you’ll reach no one.” Brand clarity means knowing who your audience is — and building emotional connection with your true fans. ✅Your brand is a promise. Like Starbucks promising to be your “third place,” what is our Mid-Pacific promise? This is just the beginning. Together we will continue shaping a brand that reflects the innovation, care, and spirit that define Mid-Pacific. Stay tuned for what’s to come from this amazing school…💚 #Branding #Storytelling #MidPacific #WalltoWallStudios #CreativeStrategy #EmotionalConnection #BrandPromise #EducationLeadership #BrandWorkshop #PurposeDriven
