Beans, alongside other pulses, peas and lentils, offer a simple, scalable and culturally resonant solution, advancing almost all the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet despite their promise, beans remain undervalued in policy frameworks, underrepresented in public procurement, and not adopted enough as a key solution for nutritious diets. This event by the Beans is How Campaign at #REGENHOUSEClimateWeekNYC builds on new evidence and global momentum to explore how beans can be positioned more powerfully in both behaviour change strategies and structural policy frameworks. Featuring actors from across food policy, food service and the culinary world, it will demonstrate and inspire action to drive food systems and consumer behaviour change using beans, peas and lentils. 📅 Thursday, Sept 25 | 1:30 - 2:45 pm EST 📍REGEN HOUSE Request an invitation here: https://lnkd.in/dSgETb84 Andrew Zimmern, Asma Lateef, Alexina Cather, Grace Ramirez, Eve Turow-Paul, Paul Newnham, Rachel Atcheson

Food production is increasingly global, with 30% of all food exported. But it generates the largest environmental impact of any human activity, threatening long-term food security in the face of climate change. This session with the World Wildlife Fund at #REGENHOUSEClimateWeekNYC introduces Codex Planetarius, a proposed system of minimum environmental performance standards for globally traded food that aims to address these issues to create a more resilient food system. The session will build awareness and consensus among companies, governments and NGOs on collaboration and pilots to inform private sector, bilateral, and multilateral agreements. 📅 Thursday, Sept 25 | 12:30 - 1:45 pm EST 📍REGEN HOUSE Request an invitation here: https://luma.com/wwf

Join MillPont, AgriCapture, 3Degrees Group, Inc., and Continuum Ag at #REGENHOUSEClimateWeekNYC for a session exploring three distinct approaches for financing the transition to regenerative agriculture across major commodities. Hear how AgriCapture takes a market-based approach in rice, 3Degrees’ approach in dairy, and Continuum Ag’s tax credit approach for low carbon intensity corn. Moderated by Millpont, a geospatial clearinghouse building trust and transparency in environmental markets, this discussion will unpack who funds these transitions, what drives participation, and how each model delivers value from farm to supply chain. 📅 Thursday, Sept 25 | 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EST 📍REGEN HOUSE Request an invitation here: https://lnkd.in/eetU4Qrs Tyler Hull, Mitchell Hora, Dominic Sutton-Vermeulen, Ryan Stilson
