Stop guessing your GTM targets. And start engineering them instead! Here's the framework Brian Kreutz from our Playbooks team uses to set GTM goals that actually work: The problem 👉 Most teams set revenue targets without understanding how each funnel stage impacts the final number. The solution 👉 Build a bidirectional goal-setting model. Here's the simple version: Map your funnel stages (Leads → MQLs → SQLs → Deals → Customers) Know your conversion rates between each stage Work the math in either direction Start with your lead goal and calculate down to revenue. Or start with your revenue target and work backwards to see how many leads you need. The result 👉 Knowing exactly which lever to pull when you need to hit your number.
