🎉 Universal Robots is 20 years old this week! 🎉 For 13 of those years, I’ve had a front row seat on this incredible journey - watching an unknown Danish startup grow into a global powerhouse and a household name in industrial automation. ❤️ One of my absolute favorite assignments has been traveling around North America with a videographer, documenting the incredible benefits the UR robots provide; we've been in Canadian mining towns, luxury yachts in Florida, saw mills in Vermont, coffee roasteries in Chicago, stem cell labs in San Francisco, injection molders in Colorado and Pennsylvania, auto assembly lines in Ohio and more than 40 other locations over the years. 🙏 Thank you Kim Aronson & Ian Storck 🎥 for capturing all that awesome footage. 📹 This anniversary video has quick cameos from our visits to Bob's Red Mill, Canvas, DEMGY Pacific (former Tool Gauge), DCL Logistics, Multiply Labs, Andrew Pearce Bowls, & Raise Robotics. There's also material from the "Quality Matters" campaign that we worked on with Majken Bülow. 👀 It was fun watching the live stream from the anniversary event in Denmark, listening to co-founder Esben Østergaard recall the early days. He was joined by another great storyteller and visionary, UR's first CCO Thomas Visti, who regaled us with accounts of driving all over Denmark and Germany with a UR robot in the trunk of his Citroën C4, doing live demos. - Visti was the person who brought McCall Media on board to handle UR's market entry in North America. Thank you Malene Grouleff for inviting me into your world of robotics and introducing me to UR - and thank you Thomas for taking a chance on a (back then) one-woman enterprise, when you could have gone with a big fancy agency. 🙏 #universalrobots #automation #nextgen #robotics #cobots

Last year's winners included Sodex Innovations, Trunk Tools & Raise Robotics...who will follow in their footsteps this year? Join us at Trimble Dimensions and register now: https://lnkd.in/e-3EfYZV
Each year, the Construction Startup Competition brings together the most ambitious entrepreneurs in the built world. In 2025, over 500 startups applied, but just 8 will make it to the mainstage at Trimble Dimensions, selected for their potential to reshape how we design, build, and operate. These finalists will pitch live in front of a panel of industry leaders from Cemex, Caterpillar Inc., Dysruptek, Ferrovial, Hilti Group, Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, and Zacua Ventures, a jury that knows what it takes to scale in this space. At Trimble, we understand the importance of innovation and building meaningful partnerships to tackle the big challenges facing our industry. We know we won’t solve everything on our own, and we don’t intend to. That’s why we’re committed to partnering with both emerging startups and established companies to drive progress together. This competition is one way we put our Connect & Scale strategy into action. It reflects our belief in open innovation: that the best ideas might come from outside our walls, and that real progress can be made when working together across an ecosystem. Space is limited so register now to join us at Trimble Dimensions and be part of the conversation shaping the future of construction: https://lnkd.in/e-3EfYZV
