  • Across New Mexico, more than 500 APCs help Presbyterian deliver on our commitment to provide safe, compassionate and equitable care to the communities who depend on us. They're improving access by taking on their own patient panels and helping connect communities with care through virtual options. As leaders, they're creating supportive working environments that help keep providers here at Presbyterian. Their determination and dedication to continuous learning results in better outcomes for our patients and members. Our APCs don't just help us deliver exceptional care—they help advance it. That's why we're celebrating the important difference our APCs make every day. Give a shoutout to your favorite APCs below!

  • The newly released ALICE Report from United Way of North Central New Mexico reveals a sobering reality: thousands of New Mexicans are working hard but still unable to afford basic necessities. These ALICE households — Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — earn above the federal poverty level yet face daily financial instability. At Presbyterian, we recognize that health and financial well-being are deeply connected. That’s why we’re committed to supporting ALICE families. From preventive care and chronic disease management to community health and behavioral health, our programs are designed to meet people where they are and help them thrive. We’re proud to stand with United Way of North Central New Mexico in raising awareness to drive action. Together, we are determined to build a healthier, more equitable future for all New Mexicans. 🔗 Learn more about the ALICE Report: https://lnkd.in/gCg2PH9C

  • ICYMI: In northern New Mexico, too many families have felt the devastating impact of substance use disorder (SUD). At Presbyterian Española Hospital, we see every day how hard it can be to find timely, compassionate care close to home. That’s why expanding our addiction medicine clinic matters so much. The expansion, which was funded through a Rural Health Care Delivery Fund grant, adds 11 exam rooms, more providers—including doctors specializing in addiction medicine—extended hours and same-day appointments to support nearly four times as many patients annually. Peer support specialists, who use their own lived experience to help others with SUD navigate their recovery, will continue to be a cornerstone in the clinic—ensuring patients receive the support they need from follow-up appointment coordination to medication access to additional recovery resources. The Santa Fe New Mexican recently featured the expansion as a major step forward for Española and surrounding communities. Learn more about the expansion here: https://ow.ly/suJB50X6s23

  • At Balloon Fiesta, our Albuquerque Ambulance Service Bike Team will be weaving through festivalgoers, responding fast and making sure everyone has the safest experience possible.
